This last week has been a difficult week for us. My son Kodie has not been able to eat or sleep and has been just getting sicker and sicker. He came to see me, and his skin and eyes were yellow. I rushed him to the ER, and he has been there for the last 6 days. He has now had numerous CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, echocardiograms, 2 blood transfusions, a paracentesis, and today a bone marrow biopsy. He has stumped the doctors. He also has no insurance through work. This bill is going to be monstrous. I am asking if anyone out there could help my son by covering any of the cost. Even 5 dollars would help. It would be one less stress on him while he tries to figure out what is causing his illness. His hemoglobin is still low, and he is still jaundiced. But hopefully, we will have answers soon as to why.
