Support for Kirston’s Health Recovery

If you know Ericka like I know Ericka, you know that first and foremost she is a mother. Her babies (and now grands) mean the world to her. That’s why I come to you now to let you know how her world has changed and to ask you all for your help.

On February 25 Kirston (Ericka’s oldest child) was in a car accident - 4 days after he had gotten his new ride. Kirston was noticeably banged up from the accident, but since there were no broken bones he forwent going to the hospital. On February 27 Kirston passed out at home and Ericka had to have him rushed to Forsyth Hospital. Kirston suffered a stroke and had a craniotomy to reduce the swelling on his brain. Since then, Kirston has been in Neuro ICU and has been placed in a medically induced coma. Currently, the doctor’s have no idea how he will be impacted by the stroke or the swelling in his brain. His future is uncertain.

I come to you today asking you all to please help our dear friend ! We all know she typically works three jobs on a regular day, but Ericka has been by Kirston’s side nonstop since this happened. She needs our help, because she’s been told that his road to recovery will be a long one. As Ericka puts it “It will be a marathon!”

Ericka needs help now even though Kirston is still in the hospital. Both their bills still need to be paid and there will be a number of new expenses that will arise once he comes home. If you cannot afford a donation, please offer up a prayer.
