Support for Kim's Stage 4 Breast and Brain Cancer Treatment

Hi everyone,

My name is Alyssa Waters, and I am writing to you on behalf of my mom and siblings. In the most truly unbelievable of circumstances, we are reaching out for support for our incredible mom, Kimberly Shugart (many of you may also know her as Kimberly Waters or Kimberly Flores). Recently, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 (metastatic) breast cancer and it has metastasized to many other areas of her body. This diagnosis has completely turned my mom’s and my sibling’s entire lives upside down, and we’re facing a difficult and overwhelming journey ahead.

As you can imagine, the costs of treatment, medications, and the necessary care are piling up quickly. We are truly struggling to keep up with the financial burden. The reality of this situation is that we are sinking under the weight of medical bills, treatment costs, and the everyday expenses that have become nearly impossible to manage.

We are doing everything we can to care for my mom, and as much as she and I both hate asking for help, we know we cannot do this alone. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering her medications, treatments, doctor’s visits, and the essential care she needs during this time. Every penny counts, and your support will provide my mom with the chance to fight this disease with the best possible care in addition to giving her the best quality of life.
