Kim and Budgie have always been the heart of our family, living in Colorado Springs and supporting everyone around them. Recently, Kim suffered a heart attack, which has changed their daily lives in significant ways. She now needs a healthier diet and must limit her activity for the foreseeable future, making it difficult for her to maintain her usual routines. Budgie is stepping up to help at home, but the financial strain of medical bills and living expenses is becoming overwhelming.
Kim is truly the glue that holds our family together. She’s always been there for anyone in need, offering help and support whenever she can. Her kindness and strength have touched so many lives, and now she needs our help more than ever. By coming together, we can ease the burden on Kim and Budgie, allowing them to focus on her recovery and well-being.
In addition to financial support, we hope to spread awareness about heart attack symptoms in women. These symptoms can include pressure in the chest or abdomen, pain in the back, neck, or jaw, shortness of breath, unusual fatigue, cold sweat, nausea, or indigestion. Symptoms may start slowly and worsen, or come on suddenly. Kim’s experience has shown us how important it is to recognize the signs early and take action. Any help—whether through donations or sharing information—will make a meaningful difference for our family and others facing similar challenges.
