Support for Kimberly Borjas and her family

Hello,

This Go Fund me page has been created to provide help with funeral and medical expenses for the Borjas Family who lost a loving father and devoting husband (Armando Borjas).

On January 8, 2016 - Kimberly and her mother received the devastating news that Armando had End stage liver failure, and urgently needed a transplant. Due to his Liver failure he was in and out of the hospital.

The Summer of 2020, Armando decided, along with the help of his family to the take the big step in getting the transplant he needed. On Christmas Eve 12/24/2020, Kimberly received the call that a donor had been found and it was a match. After 8 long hours the transplant was a success and the road to recovery began for her father along side with his family. Unfortunately, after four days of joy things took a turn and Armando began having health complications.

After 6 long months of uncertainties regarding Armando’s health things were finally starting to seem hopeful. He was showing enough progress and the transplant team felt he was stable enough to go to a rehabilitation center. The Doctors and nurses had hope for him. Unfortunately days after the news he began to have health complications and sadly passed away Wednesday June 30, 2021 with his family by his side. 

Armando was a loving, caring and hard-working man, despite the circumstances with his health he worked hard to provide the best life for his family and children. He was so brave, despite being in the hospital, he fought and tried his very best to get back to his family. His laughter was contagious and would turn an entire room upside down. His constant support and Love would always be lifting to others, specially his family.

The Borjas Family is aware that these are difficult times for everyone. If there is anything you can donate, please consider helping them in any way possible. Anything helps. They will forever be grateful for all your help.

Kimberly and her mother will appreciate any help that will be given through here and will later go towards her father’s funeral and medical expenses.
