Support Kim (Russon) & Logan Ponder After Loss of Baby Girl

Sweet baby Scottie Rae Ponder was loved beyond words by her adoring parents, Kimberly (Russon) and Logan Ponder. From the moment they learned of her existence, they cherished every tiny kick, every ultrasound image, every dream of the life they would share. She was, and still is, their whole world.

At 39 weeks, after a completely healthy pregnancy and just days away from meeting her family earthside, Scottie’s heart stopped beating due to unknown causes. A day after learning of her passing, Kim went into labor naturally and was able to give birth to Scottie Rae Ponder in the early morning of March 20th. Scottie came out with the most perfect little red lips and full round cheeks! She was absolutely everything her parents had dreamed of. She appeared to be a mini Kim, with curly blonde hair and the cutest button nose from her daddy, Logan.

The unexpected death of their sweet daughter has left Kim and Logan absolutely devastated. They have never loved anything as much as they love their little girl.

In this time of sorrow, we are raising funds to support Kim and Logan as they face unexpected medical expenses, extensive out-of-pocket lab testing, and end-of-life costs for their beloved daughter. If enough is raised to cover all the medical bills, any remaining will help temporarily ease the family’s living expenses, as Logan is in dental school full-time, and Kim (who supports the family financially while Logan’s in school) is on unpaid maternity leave, allowing her the necessary time she needs to heal—physically and emotionally.
