My fiancé, Kevin, recently underwent emergency major bowel surgery to remove part of his intestine. Mother's Day morning he was rushed to the ER with horrible pain, turns out it was a life of death situation which was very scary for both of us and I'm sure the whole family. As a result, he now has a colostomy bag, which he may have to use for the rest of his life. The recovery process is long, and Kevin will be unable to work for the next 6-8 weeks. This has put a lot of stress on our family, as we try to adjust to this new reality and support him through his healing journey.

Kevin is the best dad to our kids and a wonderful provider for our family. It breaks my heart to see him go through this, and I wish I could take away his pain. If we could lift the financial burden from his shoulders, it would be one less thing for us to worry about during this difficult time, allowing him to focus on JUST healing and resting.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help us cover the costs of Kevin's medications, follow-up appointments, and essential living expenses like rent and utilities. I am working part time to keep things going with two kids—one of them a baby & the other almost done with kindergarten. *He was diagnosed with Chrons disease last month and got hospitalized on Easter. We thought it got better because he was gaining healthy weight and everything took a turn for the worst Mother's Day. We know God has a reasoning for everything and we will trust him.
