Support for Kevin's Journey with Glioblastoma
Donation protected
My name is Suzanne Opperman. My husband, Kevin Opperman, has a Glioblastoma brain tumor that cannot be surgically removed and is terminal. I don't work so I can stay home with him and care for him. We currently just have his Social Security, and that apparently is too much for us to get assistance. He is 68 and has a loving family nearby who try to help us out as much as they can with getting him to appointments, etc.
Because he is still taking some infusion treatment to prolong life, we cannot get hospice in to help me. I have had to purchase a car with a lift chair so we could safely transport him, and with that, medical bills, and other care items, we have run through what we had in our retirement account. We don't usually ask others for help, and we trust in the Lord that everything will be fine.
I thank you for reading my story. God bless you.
