Kerri Dawn Fleetwood was my best friend growing up in Enid, Oklahoma. Our childhoods were tough, and our moms were best friends too. When our families moved in together, Kerri and I became sisters in every way that mattered. We made mistakes and took the wrong path early in life, but through it all, Kerri’s spirit and love for her family never faded.
Kerri faced many challenges, including diabetes, which took most of her eyesight and led to kidney failure. Despite her struggles, she remained close to her mother, who was her best friend and the person she loved most—until she had her beautiful daughter. Kerri’s mom is now facing unimaginable loss and hardship. She doesn’t have a job, a home, or a car, and she’s struggling to find the means to honor Kerri’s memory with a service or cremation.
I’m asking for your help to support Kerri’s mom and daughter during this heartbreaking time. Donations will go directly toward covering the costs of a service or cremation, and will help provide immediate support for her family. Please give anything you can—anything helps. Kerri would want her daughter and mother to be taken care of, and your kindness will mean the world to them.
