I’m reaching out along with Kenzie’s best friend Margaret to share the story of Kenzie Yetto—the beloved daughter of our dear friends Kevin and Linda Oblisk, and a loving wife and mother. Last Tuesday evening, Kenzie began experiencing symptoms of a heart attack. After rushing to the hospital, she was diagnosed with SCAD—a rare and serious tear in her heart. In the days that followed, Kenzie underwent two surgeries to install an Impella pump to restore blood flow to her left ventricle. Her condition was so critical that she had to be airlifted by helicopter to Boston for specialized care. After thorough evaluation, the doctors determined that Kenzie needs a heart transplant to survive.
This has been an incredibly difficult time for her husband Jon and her family. The emotional and financial toll is immense, especially with the added challenge of caring for their children, including a newborn. The costs of medical treatment, transportation, lodging near the hospital, and childcare are overwhelming. As friends and loved ones, Margaret and I want to do everything we can to support them through this journey.
We are reaching out to our community, praying and asking for any assistance you can provide. Your generosity will help ease the burden on Kenzie, Jon, and her family, allowing them to focus on her recovery and being together. Anything helps, and every donation is deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support and for keeping Kenzie in your thoughts and prayers.
