Hi everyone,
I’m starting this GoFundMe for my mom, Kendra. Anyone who knows her knows she is one of the most hardworking and caring people you’ll ever meet. She's always been the one to support others, and now it’s our turn to support her.
Recently, my mom has been dealing with a painful hernia that has made her daily life incredibly difficult. The pain has reached a point where she is unable to work, which is a huge source of stress for her. The doctor has put her on bed rest, unable to lift more than a gallon of milk (and even that is a stretch), bend over, or move around too much.
The good news is that she is scheduled for surgery to fix the issue. The challenge, however, is the long road ahead. Her surgery isn't for at least another month or two, and she'll need a minimum of six weeks of recovery afterward. This means she's facing a total of 4-5 months without any income.
While she’s focused on preparing for surgery and healing, the weight of upcoming bills like her car payment, animal necessities, and utilities is causing a lot of anxiety. The last thing I want is for her to worry about finances when she should be focused entirely on her health and recovery. She is currently living with my husband and I, so thankfully, we're able to ensure her well-being and cover groceries during this process, but we're unable to help with the additional bills, which is why we've created this campaign.
That's why I'm humbly asking for your help. We are hoping to create a safety net for her. These funds will go directly to covering her essential living expenses over the next few months, allowing her to rest and heal without the overwhelming stress of falling behind.
Any amount you can donate would be a tremendous help and a beautiful gift of peace of mind for my mom. If you aren't in a position to donate, sharing this campaign with your friends and family would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and prayers.
With love and gratitude,
Victoria
