As many of you may know, Kelsi has been bravely battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) since her initial diagnosis in August 2023.
She originally reached remission and underwent a bone marrow transplant in September 2024, after being matched with her brother, John Hein. The transplant worked for 11 months until she relapsed again in July 2025. She has been trying to reach remission again since then.
In March 2026, Kelsi developed a severe and aggressive fungal infection that started in her sinuses and quickly spread to her eye and has now spread to the base of her skull, directly below her brain. At this same time, Kelsi's leukemia went into remission, but they were not able to proceed with a transplant due to the severity of the fungal infection.
We trust that God works through His people, and your generosity is one way to show His love in action. Every gift, every prayer, and every share makes a difference.
If you feel led, please consider donating or sharing this page. Most importantly, we ask that you keep Kelsi and her family in your prayers—that they would feel God’s peace, comfort, and presence in every moment. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ during this time.
