Naomi's Kelsey Smith Support Fund

Naomi Pyle is beloved internationally as a clogging instructor, and in her native Indiana as a successful florist, community theater producer and of course, as a dancer. Her family means everything to her.

Recently her eldest granddaughter Kelsey had flu-like symptoms that grew worse. A trip to the emergency room revealed an infection in her bloodstream that had gone into sepsis and affected her heart and lungs. Her white blood count rose to over 70,000 and she was placed into an induced coma to address the infection.

Kelsey's heart valve was damaged and she will require surgery. She is slowly responding to antibiotics and they are slowly trying to take her off of support and get her strong enough for surgery. Kelsey has a long road ahead.

Naomi's friends have put together this fund to help the family to address the many ongoing needs and expenses they will face with Kelsey moving forward, and to show this amazing lady and friend how much she has meant to all of us.
