Kelley Selby (46) suffered a life-threatening pontine stroke on April 24, 2026. Kelley is the mother of two teenage children (Nathan, 16; Hailey, 14), a sister to Christine Selby and Jeremy Selby. She is the youngest daughter of Mitch and Ann Selby, and an aunt to Tyler Selby, Michael (myself), and Isaiah Benson. At this moment, Kelley is intubated in an intensive care unit, where her immediate future is unknown. What our family does know is that Kelley will never be able to stand and cheer for her children’s graduation. She’ll never again be able to hug them tightly, say the words ‘I love you,’ or celebrate future milestones in their young lives. My aunt will never again enjoy the small things in life that we often take for granted. Since Kelley’s stroke, our community has lost a substitute teacher who often told me when I was younger how rewarding she knew it would be working with children as a teacher. She loved teaching. This nightmare brings new challenges to our family that nothing could have prepared us for.

Kelley is originally from Medford, Oregon. Kelley lived in Florida, then made Las Vegas her home. She enjoys her 2 Husky dogs, Winter and Ozzy, cooking, styling her hair and makeup, shopping, and Vans shoes.

UPDATE: As of April 29th, 2026, our family decided to transition Kelley to hospice.
