Kelly found the love of her life in Jules Lujan, a hardworking man driven by his passion for the culinary arts—an art they both cherished and from which they made their living. Their journey together was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising their two children, whose arrival brought even more happiness to their family. The bond between Kelly and Jules was evident to all who knew them; their love was palpable, and their devotion to each other and their children was inspiring.

Tragically and very unexpectedly, Jules came home from work one day not feeling well. Within a few days, doctors determined that he had contracted bacterial meningitis. Despite hope and medical efforts, Jules lost consciousness and, heartbreakingly, passed away shortly after. Kelly is now facing the unimaginable—navigating life without her beloved partner, while caring for their two young children. She is determined to stay strong for their sake and to honor Jules’s memory by raising them with the same love and dedication he showed every day.

This fundraiser is to help Kelly with the immediate costs of placing Jules in his final resting place and to support her as she mourns and cares for their children.
