It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend, Kelley Rogers. Kelley was a kind, caring, and genuine soul who touched so many lives in our community. His impact, especially within the local skateboarding scene, will never be forgotten. Kelley was once the proud owner of Mother Lode Board Supply in Placerville. It was more than just a skate shop—it was a place where people felt welcome, supported, and inspired. Through it, Kelley built a strong sense of community and gave so much of himself to others, always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge, or simply be there when someone needed it.

Outside of that chapter of his life, Kelley continued to live fully and authentically. He loved skateboarding, snowboarding, rafting, kayaking, practicing yoga, and exploring the backcountry on his snowmobile. He had a deep appreciation for adventure, nature, and connection. Kelley leaves behind his sons, Jonas and Logan, his stepson Takoda, and his mother, Barbara, who are now facing not only the emotional weight of this loss but also unexpected financial burdens.

We are raising funds to help ease any remaining expenses Kelley may have had and to support his family during this incredibly difficult time. A portion of the funds will also go toward organizing a celebration of life to honor Kelley in a way that reflects the love and community he built.
