On Christmas, Keith was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with an intestinal blockage. Emergency surgery revealed an orange-sized tumor, which pathology determined to be cancerous. Further tests showed the cancer had spread to some of his lymph nodes, meaning Keith now faces additional treatment and a long road to recovery. As if that wasn’t enough, he has also suffered heart-related complications after surgery, making his recovery slow and difficult.

Keith is the sole provider for his family, and with him unable to work, they are facing a real financial crisis. Not only are they struggling with basic living expenses, but the costs of medical care are daunting. Keith does have insurance, but it is a high-deductible plan. Because the emergency happened just before the end of the year, his family must now meet deductibles for both 2025 and 2026. The amount raised here will help cover one of those deductibles, but the need is much greater. Still, it’s a start, and we have to start somewhere.

Keith is a humble, private man who would never ask for help himself. He’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back, even in the midst of his own struggles. That’s why Steve and I have set up this page on his behalf. Any help you can give, big or small, will go a long way towards keeping Keith and his family afloat and ensuring he can get the medical care he needs.
