UPDATE: Keilahni Rose became our beautiful guardian angel on December 14th, 2025 at 3:30pm. Keilahni is no longer in pain, she's free and at peace.

Keilahni Johnson, a bright and loving 9-year-old, recently fell gravely ill. What began as a sudden sickness quickly escalated, and Keilahni was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, sepsis, and covid. Despite the best efforts of her medical team, her condition worsened, leading to persistent strokes and brain hemorrhaging. She is currently on a ventilator, and her family is facing the unimaginable pain of preparing to say goodbye.

Keilahni’s mother, Katrina, is a devoted single mom who has been by her daughter’s side every step of the way. The emotional and financial toll of this crisis is overwhelming. Katrina now faces the costs of funeral and cremation services, as well as ongoing living expenses. With Keilahni being treated in a Chicago hospital, travel, gas, and parking have added to the burden. Most importantly, Katrina needs time to grieve and begin to heal without the added weight of financial stress.
