It is incredibly hard to find the words to share that my mom passed away unexpectedly. Her loss came without warning and has left our family shocked, heartbroken, and struggling to make sense of a world that suddenly feels very different without her in it.
My mom was so much to so many—strong, stubborn in the best way, and full of life. She lived on her own terms and wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She was a dirt-biking, truck-driving mom with a fierce spirit and a bigger-than-life heart. She was a source of love, strength, and comfort to everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
She taught me how to fish, how to garden, and how to love and respect nature. Those lessons were about more than just being outdoors—they were about patience, resilience, and finding peace in the simple things. Every quiet moment outside will forever remind me of her.
More than anything, my mom loved my brothers and I. She loved being a grandma. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She lit up when she talked about them, cherished every moment with them, and loved them with her whole heart. The bond she shared with her grandkids was something truly special, and her love will continue to live on through them.
As we grieve this sudden and devastating loss, we are also facing the unexpected financial responsibilities that come with laying her to rest and honoring her life. Navigating these arrangements while grieving has been overwhelming, and any support would help ease the burden during this painful time.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small and every act of kindness means more than words can express. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser or keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for the love, compassion, and support you have shown our family. We will carry my mom’s love with us always.
With love,
Kayla
