Hello, my name is David Edwards, and we're attempting to raise money for funeral expenses for my grandmother, Kathy Edwards.

Kathy Lee Edwards, 79, of Clintwood, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025, at Lonesome Pine Memorial Hospital in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Born in Clintwood, Virginia, on September 8, 1946, she dedicated close to 35 years of service to Heritage Hall in Clintwood, Virginia. Kathy loved crocheting, soap operas, cooking shows, fishing, Dale Earnhardt, Elvis, Burt Reynolds, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She has 2 sons, and 4 grandchildren.

She never wanted to have anything elaborate or fancy done, so we tried to be as simple as possible, but these expenses still add up quickly. We really don't want to have to ask others for help, but these expenses come unexpectedly, and we don't have a choice but to ask. As long as we're able to cover the initial cost of the services, we can work out a plan for the rest.
