Kathy Polderman has been a dear friend to me for many years. She has always been there for my family during times of need, offering kindness, love, and support without hesitation. Now, Kathy is facing an incredibly difficult chapter in her life, and I am reaching out on her behalf.

Just after Christmas, Kathy’s husband of nearly 50 years, Dave, passed away suddenly. The shock and grief of losing him have been overwhelming. To make matters even more difficult, Kathy is currently hospitalized and facing serious medical challenges of her own. She is recovering from recent foot surgery, which has made mobility very difficult, and she also needs knee surgery on the same leg. Kathy and Dave relied on Social Security, and with Dave’s passing, she will lose half of that income. While grieving the loss of her husband, Kathy is now also facing significant and unexpected medical and funeral expenses—costs that are simply too much for her to bear alone.
