Just a few short weeks ago, Kathie received the difficult news that she has lung cancer. As is so typically Kathie, she has faced this challenge with strength, grace, and endless poop jokes.

Kathie has touched countless lives in her work as a nurse. She is used to organizing help for others, not receiving it. Another big adjustment to add to the list.

However, she and her family are at the beginning of a difficult journey and need our support. Kathie has been a rock for so many of us. Now, it is our turn to show up for her and her family.

Household activities like grocery shopping and cleaning can be difficult due to physical limitations. The list goes on.
