Katelyn (Sharlow) Ray, my daughter, was diagnosed with breast cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, right before Thanksgiving of 2025. Katelyn is married to Nathan Ray, and together they have two young children, Nolan (age 4) and Maeve (age 2). This diagnosis has turned their world upside down, and Katelyn is now facing a year of chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatments. The effects of chemo have been incredibly tough on her, making it difficult for her to work and care for her family as she normally would.
As Katelyn begins this year-long journey, the financial strain is already being felt. The costs of medical bills, living expenses, childcare, groceries, and meals are adding up quickly. Every day brings new worries about how to cover the basics and keep life as normal as possible for Nolan and Maeve.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers for support. Your generosity will help ease the burden on Katelyn and her family, allowing them to focus on her recovery and each other. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in their lives. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping Katelyn and her family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
