Support for Kate - Courage Through Chemo

It’s not easy to ask for help. But when someone shows up with such strength, grace and quiet courage, we must gather. My dear friend Kate is 12 weeks into a 24-week chemotherapy protocol for Stage 3 breast cancer and has continued to do what she does best: show up. She’s been raising her three boys, building a new business from the ground up, moving into a new house, and staying committed to her purpose-driven work that brings deep value to others but doesn’t offer immediate financial reward. And thats all been in the first 12 weeks! Yes, Kate was scheduled to move house 3 weeks after her unexpected diagnosis. Each Wednesday, Kate undergoes another round of chemo. By Friday she is completely depleted, and by Tuesday she begins to feel herself again, just in time for the next round. Her energy and cognitive clarity are wavering even though her spirit is as strong as ever. She’s doing everything she can with positivity, yet even the most resilient among us need rest, softness, and support. Kate is fiercely independent and humble. This is our chance to support her through the much harder half of the 24 wk treatment.
