A few days ago, Kate and Archie were attacked by a neighbors dog, unprovoked, while finishing their morning walk as they approached Kate’s apartment complex. This landed Kate in the ER with extensive injuries to her forearms and hand.

She is unable to work in her current job as a nanny, and being an independent contractor employee, she does not qualify for state disability. Legal proceedings could take up to a year, or longer.

Sometimes it takes a village and this is one of those times.

Funds will replace Kate’s lost wages and support her rent/living expenses.
