On what should have been a joyful celebration for her dad’s birthday, Kassie and 12 members of her family were in a party bus when tragedy struck. They were hit head-on, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of four beloved family members. Kassie herself is in critical condition, facing a long and difficult road to recovery.

Yesterday, Kassie underwent a 7.5 hour surgery to repair multiple broken bones and lacerations on her face. She is currently in a medically induced coma with a trach to help her body rest and heal. In the coming days, she will need additional surgeries to address the extensive injuries she sustained. Through all of this, her husband Jeremy and their three boys, Nolan, Grant, and Bricyn, are staying in a hotel across from the hospital, doing everything they can to support her while juggling the challenges of college, high school, and middle school.

Right now, the family’s greatest needs are prayers for Kassie’s strength and for the medical team caring for her.
