On Friday, August 12th, Kasey Stanek was involved in a car accident where he sustained multiple life-threatening injuries, including two collapsed lungs, three broken vertebrae, and a traumatic brain injury. He was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals, where he remains. His father, Wes, has remained by his side and will be needed there for many months.
