Help Support Karra & the Kids After the Loss of Shelby

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the unexpected loss of my brother, Shelby Hemphill.

Shelby leaves behind his wife, Karra, and their four children, Gaige, Brooklynn, Emma, and Bradley. In an instant, their world has changed in a way no family is ever prepared for.

As Karra and the kids try to process this heartbreaking loss, they are also being faced with expenses and decisions that no one expects to have to make so suddenly. We are starting this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden and allow them to focus on one another during the days and months ahead.

The sudden loss of a loved one brings not only tremendous grief, but also unexpected financial burdens. Funds raised will first help cover Shelby’s final arrangements, an immediate expense the family was not prepared to face. Any additional funds will go directly to Karra and the children to help with household expenses, everyday needs, and provide some financial stability as they begin navigating the difficult days and months ahead without Shelby.

There is no amount of money that can make this loss easier or fill the space Shelby leaves behind. But as their friends, family, and community, we can help make sure Karra doesn’t have to carry every burden at once.
