Hello! My name is Karissa & this is my family. Along with my husband, Steven, and the little boy growing in my tummy. This year has dealt us a hard hand, and we have not been able to maintain our monthly bills or rent. My husband lost work a few months back after he was diagnosed with kidney failure. We have been unable to get him any type of treatment as he has been trying to do odd jobs to keep us afloat. Most recently, we were evicted and expected to be out before Christmas. With some luck, we have been able to stay for Christmas, but we need help desperately. We have had little or no luck with getting any type of state or church assistance and have nowhere to go. We have never done a GoFundMe before nor have we wanted to. After talking with some friends, we have decided to put this out there in the hopes that people might be willing to donate and help keep us in our home. Please, if you or anyone you know can help donate, please help us pay the outstanding rent.

We will be asking our rental company about a specific account to donate to in case someone doesn’t feel comfortable donating to a personal bank account.
