My mother, Karen, has been bravely battling stage 4 terminal cancer for months. Despite her diagnosis, she has continued to work and support our family, always putting others before herself. Recently, her condition has worsened, and she now needs a major surgery that’s far from home. Because she can no longer work, she requires around-the-clock care, and I have taken months off from my own job to be by her side and help her maintain her quality of life.
Any funds donated will go directly to Karen’s medical expenses, surgeries, medications, travel, and in-home care for the time she has left with us. Your support will help ease her mind and allow her to focus on living the remainder of her life as happily and comfortably as possible. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for our family during this difficult time.
Karen has worked hard her entire life, even while battling cancer, and just received her 10-year pin for her dedication to her patients at NVH. She approaches each day with a fun and loving attitude, always bringing joy and laughter to those around her. She is a true warrior, and her strength inspires everyone she meets. Even if you can’t donate, please send a kind prayer—she appreciates those just as much. Bless you all, and please share if you can.
