Support for Karen Belant in Jennifer's Memory

Hello, my name is Kevin Belant. I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother, Karen Belant. This morning (April 14th, 2024), my sister, Jennifer Belant, unexpectedly passed away. She was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes over a decade ago and had been dealing with a lot of health issues over the years as a result. She was taken in the rescue squad late last night and was on her way to the hospital. Unfortunately, she suffered a heart attack in the ambulance and despite their efforts, she was unable to recover.

Jennifer was a wonderful person. Her personality was infectious to everyone around her. She just had a way of making everything... happier. No matter how grim it may have been. She cared so much about our family and her friends. She was especially wonderful to my two little girls, Ashlyn and Octavia and Justin's (our brother) daughter, Lily. Ashlyn was always so excited whenever we told her that Auntie Jen would be watching her for the day, or whenever she could have a sleepover with her and Grandma Karen.

My dad passed away three years prior. Between his life insurance, the COVID relief fund and some generous donations from her coworkers, my mom was able to get through it. Unfortunately, Jennifer didn't have life insurance or anything.

Which is what led us here with making this GoFundMe. Without this, we aren't sure how we can possibly get through this financially. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
