Support for Karen After the Loss of Her Baby Blayden

We are heartbroken to share that our dear coworker and friend, Karen, has experienced an unimaginable loss. At 8 months pregnant, Karen lost her baby—a devastating tragedy no mother should ever have to face.

As you can imagine, this has left Karen and her family in deep grief. In addition to the emotional toll, there are also unexpected financial burdens that come with arranging services and taking time off to begin healing—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Karen has made the incredibly difficult decision to have her baby cremated, as the idea of a burial is too painful for her to face right now. We want to honor her wishes and help ensure that everything is handled with love, care, and dignity.

Karen is a devoted mother and a hard-working, loving person who brings light to those around her. Now, it’s our turn to be the support she needs. Her coworkers have come together to create this GoFundMe to help cover:

• Cremation and memorial expenses for her precious baby

• One month of living expenses so Karen can take the time she needs to grieve without the added stress of work or finances

• Support for her children, who also need time, care, and attention as they process this loss as a family
