Support for Kara and Jacob as they Rebuild from Helene
Donation protected
We've all seen and perhaps felt the immense destruction and devastation that Hurricane Helene has left behind in our beloved Appalachia communities. Communities devastated, homes destroyed, lives unfortunately lost and millions still without power or cell service. The rebuilding process is going to be long, and it's going to take the support of those both inside and outside of the area to rebuild.
Kara and Jacob Ridenhour have unfortunately been affected by this storm and are currently unable to occupy their home at Camp Lutheridge, just south of Asheville. There are trees on the house, the basement is flooded and as is unfortunately the case for so many in this area, there was no insurance for flooding as it wasn't thought possible or likely. Their family has a long journey in front of them as they work to repair their house and community at large. Anything that we can do to support Kara and Jacob, two of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, would be greatly appreciated by them and will help their family in the rebuilding process.
