On the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026, our beloved David Pearce was called home to Heaven. David was a devoted husband of 36 years, a loving father, and a man of unwavering faith. His relationship with Jesus was the foundation of his life, and even after years of bravely battling ALS, his faith never faltered. Though ALS eventually became too much for his body, David never stopped trusting God, praising Him, or encouraging others to do the same.

David inspired and motivated countless people through his strength, kindness, and testimony. He lived his faith openly and boldly, offering hope and comfort to everyone around him. In 2024, David endured an incredibly difficult hospital journey, spending nearly five months hospitalized—first in Eureka, California, and later in Portland, Oregon. Through every moment, his wife Kandy remained faithfully by his side, never leaving him, showing the same love and devotion that defined their 36 years of marriage.

When David was finally able to return home, he lived each day with gratitude and joy. He and Kandy were often out in the community, and many people loved seeing them together. David lived as fully as he could, right up until the end, fighting with courage, grace, and deep faith.

David’s passing has left a profound emptiness in our family, especially for Kandy. As she walks through this season of grief, our hope is to lift some of the financial weight so she can focus on healing and honoring the life she shared with her husband.
