Support for Kali’a Arrayan’s Leukemia Battle

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I am reaching out on behalf of the Arrayan Ohana, a family dear to my heart, who are currently facing an unimaginable challenge. Their beautiful 5-month-old daughter, Kali'a, has been diagnosed with leukemia (ALL). This devastating news has come as a complete shock and weighs heavily on their hearts. On November 13, during Kali'a's routine check-up, an enlarged spleen was detected. Further testing confirmed the heartbreaking diagnosis of Leukemia. Their Kaiser doctor immediately referred them to Radys Children's Hospital, where Kali'a could receive the best possible care and intensive treatment. Thankfully, due to their vigilant pediatrician, the cancer was detected early before any symptoms arose. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of fear, sadness, and uncertainty as they navigate this new reality. Parenting a child with cancer is an unimaginably difficult journey. Amidst learning about leukemia and dealing with the anxiety and stress that comes with it, they are striving to remain strong for their boys. Currently, Heather, Kali'a's mom, stays at the hospital with her, while the boys stay across the street at The Ronald McDonald house. The Arrayan Ohana is a private family and asking for help does not come naturally to them. However, I believe they could greatly benefit from your emotional support, prayers, positivity, and financial assistance during this challenging time. Casey, Kali'a's dad, A Fire Captain with San Diego Federal Fire Department is the sole provider of the family. For the past 16 years with the Fire Department, His wife Heather has been fortunate enough to be a stay home mom for the past 6 years to take care of the children and their activities. Since Kali'a's diagnosis, Casey has had to take time off from work to be there for their daughter's chemotherapy and treatments. This has put a significant strain on their finances, covering medical bills, and living expenses. We are kindly asking for your help. Any donations towards unforeseen medical bills, food, gas, and living expenses would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is able to donate sick leave to Casey, it would be a tremendous help, allowing him to be there for Kali'a's doctor visits and treatments. If you are unable to donate, we would deeply appreciate your prayers for Kali'a's recovery and strength during this difficult time. Prayers for their family for strength and guidance as they work to find light during these dark days. Kali'a has a long road ahead, but we believe in the power of community. Together, we can help the Arrayan Ohana navigate this challenging journey. Thank you for your support!
