Kali has always been a pillar of strength and kindness in our community. As a mother of three boys, a devoted wife, and one of the driving forces behind the Bakersfield Moms Group, she has touched countless lives with her generosity and willingness to help others. Whether organizing events or supporting mothers in need, Kali has never hesitated to step up for those around her. Now, she and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time, and it’s our turn to step up for them.

Recently, Kali was diagnosed with Leukemia. She is currently in San Francisco receiving treatment, while her husband makes the long drive back and forth to be by her side and care for their children. This situation has placed a tremendous financial strain on their family. The costs of travel, medical bills, food, and household expenses are quickly adding up, and Kali has already been away from home for almost a month. While we hope a spot will open up for her to receive care closer to home, the challenges they face right now are overwhelming.
