Support for Kain & Nico

Hi, I'm raising funds for Cher & Len Yucalvich, aka, Kain & Nico, our dear friends who are going through a tough time.

Nico is Kain's wife, partner, and caretaker. I say caretaker because Kain is disabled. On April 7th, 2025, Nico fell and broke her left hip and clavicle.

She was brought to Temple University Hospital and had immediate surgery. A rod was put in for her hip, and they were told the fractured clavicle would heal on its own.

Nico was then moved to Liberty Rehabilitation so she could begin PT. After 2 weeks at the rehab, her kidneys failed, and she was rushed to Jefferson Einstein Hospital where she received emergency dialysis, and thankfully, her life was saved.

When the doctors at Jefferson Einstein gave the OK, Nico was transferred to a new rehabilitation center, Oakwood Healthcare & Rehab Center. We do not know how long her rehabilitation is going to take. Due to her kidneys and not being able to move for a month, her muscles became very weak, so she is slowly building strength in her legs.

I am asking friends and family to help chip in and give them a cushion. Kain is on disability; he stretches it as far as he can, but we all know what it's like today. This money will ensure he is able to sustain himself while Nico heals and recovers.
