Kai Sorem is a beloved daughter, sibling, community activist, musician, and friend. She served the Filipino community especially in South Seattle, spending time with those she loved. Whether it was sharing meals, singing karaoke, spending her holidays with them, or giving them car rides.

Now more than ever, the Sorem family needs our support. As they grieve the loss of their child, they are shouldering great expenses including funeral, travel costs, and costs associated with bringing Kai home to Washington state as quickly as possible. Kai touched the lives of so many people. It is hard to reach out for help, but necessary in these moments of grief and political unrest.
