Hello everyone.
As some of you may know, towards the end of February Norma June McCoy was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. On the night of March 6, 2026, a few days before she was set to begin chemotherapy, June suffered a series of small strokes, waking up in the early hours of Saturday morning paralyzed on her left side and unable to fully speak. She was taken to the hospital and after many tests the family was told chemotherapy was no longer an option, and that June did not have recovery options due to various additional problems caused by the strokes. June decided to be put on palliative care as to not suffer.
June is a beloved sister, mother, friend, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. To know her is to love her. June welcomes anyone with open arms, love, and kindness, treating everyone as her own, earning her the nickname “granny”, among others. She will be deeply missed by so many.
I am asking for donations to assist the family with medical bills and funeral expenses. Removing some of the financial burden on the family would allow the them time to properly grieve and give June some relief in her final days. Thank you!
