Julie has always been the heart of our family—a strong, independent woman who put her children and grandchildren above all else. She loved taking the grandkids hiking, fishing, camping, and to the beach, always making sure family came first. Her selflessness and love have shaped our lives in countless ways.

Four years ago, Julie was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. After surgery to remove her colon, the cancer spread to her liver and now her lungs. She’s endured IV chemotherapy and radiation, but the treatments haven’t stopped the disease. Now, Julie is on hospice care and needs round-the-clock support. I haven’t been able to work for over a month so I can be by her side, and the bills are piling up—electric, food, propane, and heating supplies. I’m using credit cards just to keep up, but it’s not enough. I can’t leave Julie to gather wood or run errands, and every day brings new challenges.
