Support for Julie's Family After Tragic Loss

Hi there, my name is Julie and it is with extreme sadness that we announce that my father unexpectedly passed away on December 19th; he just never woke up. My mother and whole family are devastated. He was a wonderful, loving father and grandfather. He is leaving behind 4 sons, 3 daughters, 3 heartbroken granddaughters, and his best friend and wife of 30 years, my mom. He was the rock of our family. He took care of my mom, my grandpa, and my disabled sister. We have lots to figure out. He was a hardworking man and worked his whole life until his knees put him on disability. My family didn't have a lot of money but were always so happy because we had each other.

I'm creating a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral costs and to help my mom with bills, as my parents were living off my dad's social security as they were both disabled, and that will lower significantly. My family is in dire need of help and I'm really hoping the community can offer some relief. Any donations will first go to funeral costs and then, if more, will be used for the house payment or other bills, as their income will be greatly reduced. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated, and if you can't contribute money at this time, a share with friends and family would mean the world to us as well.

the memorial date is TBD, we are waiting for his body to be released to us...with it being so close to Christmas they told us it might be delayed.

Memorial will be Saturday December 28th from 2-4pm at Bowerman funeral home in munising MI
