It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Julien Andrew Smith.

Julien proudly served as a correctional officer for 8 years, dedicating himself to a challenging and important role with integrity and courage. He was a respected member of the specialized Green Team, always committed to making a difference.

Outside of his work, Julien found joy in being a passionate cook, known for gathering loved ones around to enjoy the meals he prepared — especially his perfectly smoked meats. He loved football, hitting the gym, and showing up for the people he cared about. His laughter, his strength, and his generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we prepare to honor Julien’s life and say our final goodbyes, we are asking for your support. Any contribution you can make will go directly toward funeral and memorial expenses to help ease the burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time.
