Hello my name is Michelle and I'm starting this fund for my incredible friend Julie. We met when our kids started kindergarten and have remained close ever since.

Julie is facing a challenge she never expected, a recent diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma, cancer of the common bile duct. The diagnosis has turned Julie’s world upside down. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, and will be having surgery which have made it very difficult for her to work. The sudden loss of income, combined with the physical and emotional toll of treatment, has left Julie in a very difficult position. She is struggling to keep up with everyday living expenses while focusing on her health and recovery.

One of the most important things for Julie right now is to be surrounded by her loved ones. Her daughter, Jada, currently lives in Spain, and a portion of the funds raised will help bring Jada back to the US to visit and support Julie during this difficult time. Being together with her daughter will mean the world to Julie as she faces treatment and recovery.

Julie and her loved ones are reaching out for support during this frightening and uncertain time.
