Barbara Yinger is organizing a fundraiser on behalf of Julie DeMull

This GoFundMe is a space for those that would like to honor the memory of Skip DeMull, who died tragically on March 26 doing what he loved, racing horses, and to support his wife Julie DeMull as she navigates this sudden and unexpected loss.

Skip and Julie spent their life with their beloved horses and Michigan Harness Racing. Wherever they raced, you could count of both Skip and Julie to greet you with a smile, maybe a joke and always lend a hand if you needed it.

To honor the memory of a legendary horseman and to provide Julie with the support that is needed during this incredibly difficult time. Your contributions will help ease the burden of hospital and funeral expenses, or any other expenses that may come up. This will allow Julie to be able to focus on healing and finding her way forward, remembering lifelong moments of Skip and the harness racing community that they both love.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Skip will be held in Michigan in May. Dates to be announced.
