We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend and colleague, Julia, an Emergency Department (ED) Technician who was recently assaulted while performing her duties on the job. Julia has dedicated herself to caring for others in some of the most stressful and vulnerable situations. Now, she needs our help!

As a result of the assault, Julia has been unable to return to work, and it is still uncertain when she will be able to do so. Julia has been struggling with the lasting effects of a concussion that has left her with ongoing balance issues and constant migraines. Julia is also suffering from painful TMJ. To manage these symptoms, she must attend weekly concussion therapy sessions and also receives regular injections for her TMJ, which are both essential. These treatments are helping her slowly regain stability and improve her quality of life. While she is making progress in her physical recovery, the emotional and psychological toll of this traumatic event has also deeply affected her mental health. During this incredibly difficult time, Julia is faced with the challenge of managing her living expenses without a steady income.
