For those who don’t know, my Aunt Judy is in hospice care. Last year she battled throat cancer which resulted in surgery followed by rigorous chemo and radiation treatments. It was a very tough time for her but she kept on fighting. Treatments ended in November 2018 and we thought she was all clear and in remission. A couple of weeks ago, everything changed. The cancer came back and was more aggressive than ever. We went from thinking she was cancer free to now being in the last weeks of her life. She is now being cared for at Hospice House in Euclid. She is very comfortable, but the end is very near. We just went through the death of my grandmother (her mom) less than 6 months ago. We can’t seem to catch a break. I certainly hope there is something wonderful waiting around the corner, but at this time it is very hard on all of us. Please, keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. We will take as many prayers as we can.
Her family is being burdened with many expenses as nothing was preplanned. Plus, her son, Eric, is going to be uprooted and having to move out of the house he has lived in with his mom and is faced with financial issues.
