Yesterday, we lost an incredible woman. My friend Judy Jager passed away peacefully after a four-year battle with cancer. From the very beginning, doctors told Judy that her chances were slim and that it might be best to prepare for the worst. But Judy was determined to find a way. She chose to fight, and not only did she fight she lived. Fully. Intentionally. Courageously. Cancer began in her leg, spread to her lungs, and eventually to her brain. Through every stage, Judy carried herself with grace, faith, and determination. She continued loving, mothering, supporting, and showing up with quiet strength.

Yesterday, surrounded by her husband Tateo, her children, family, prayer, scripture, and her favorite songs, Judy let go peacefully in a way that was so perfectly her: fast, graceful, and after making sure everyone she loved was close. She leaves behind her devoted husband Tateo and her two beautiful children. She also leaves behind a legacy of resilience, faith, and unconditional love. Judy was a warrior, but more than that, she was kind, steady, and deeply loving. We will forever remember you, Judy.
