On Nov. 26th, 2025, our dear son Judah David Sparkowich (25) lost a short yet ferocious battle with brain cancer. Just three weeks prior, he had been sharing a meal at our home for a family birthday celebration. At this event, he was his typical happy, upbeat, and energetic self.

At a time when many young people might be announcing their wedding engagement, we find ourselves announcing his passing. We are all being deeply affected by this incalculable loss and it is difficult not to feel like he left us too soon. It is time to grieve and to mourn but also time to reflect on the gift that Judah was and the positive impact his life made on so many. For this we can be very thankful to the Lord. We are daily receiving the stories from so many who knew and loved him.

Our family is busy making arrangements for Judah's Celebration of Life services in both Nashville (Judah's home for 7 years) and New England, where Judah spent much of his growing-up years. Financial gifts toward these current needs and many other unexpected end-of-life needs, will be graciously received and would serve to help alleviate some of the burden our family is carrying during this most difficult time.
