Hi, my name is Rhiannon and I’m Juan’s youngest daughter. I wish I didn’t have to write this, but as you all know, my dad has passed away on 12/26/25 around 1:30 am. I just want to raise the money to help my mom with funeral expenses and extra expenses she may have going forward.
On December 11, 2025, he was diagnosed with colon cancer and had surgery to remove the mass, which they weren’t able to remove completely. On December 23, he went to his primary doctor, who told him that he had stage 3 colon cancer and his incision was infected. On December 24, he told my mom that his incision was leaking and he was in pain, but he didn’t want to go because it was Christmas Eve. Finally, on December 25, he couldn’t take the pain and was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital, they told him that his incision was infected and his kidneys were shutting down. Around 3 pm, he was rushed to emergency surgery because he went into septic shock. Around 8 pm, he was in the ICU where they told my mom that they got the infection out, but he had a 50/50 chance of making it through the night. Unfortunately, around 1:30 am, my dad passed away.
If you knew my dad, you knew he didn’t know how to rest, and given it was Christmas time, he was shopping for his grandkids and everyone. He was constantly trying to help, clean the yard, and clean the house. He loved to be around his grandkids and his family. Aubrey, Jayden, Mary, Unique, and Noah were his world, and he would do anything for them. He was so loved by everyone, and this situation happened all too fast. I know how much he meant to everyone, and I know he’s not suffering anymore from the pain he was feeling. At least now he has reunited with his dad, James, and his brother-in-law, Frank. I love you, Dad, and I miss you like crazy . Please, whatever you can donate to help us in this difficult time, I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
