"My name is Juan; I am 55 years old and live in Tijuana. Today, I find myself writing these words from a very difficult moment in my life yet also with the firm hope of pulling through, hand in hand...

I was recently diagnosed with rectal cancer. This news that completely changed my daily life. I am undergoing medical treatments that are necessary, yet also very costly and grueling, both physically and emotionally. Even so, my faith in God has been strengthened; I trust that He sustains me at every step and gives me the strength to keep fighting.

I am blessed to have a wonderful family that stands by me, supports me, and encourages me at every moment. Together, we have faced this situation with unity, love, and deep gratitude to God for every day and every opportunity though I must acknowledge that this situation has exceeded our financial means.

That is why, today, I venture to ask for help. Any support no matter how small it may seem represents a great relief for us: to cover treatments, medications, medical tests, and basic household expenses while I face this illness.

I would also be deeply grateful if you could share my story. The solidarity of others is, for me, a manifestation of God's love acting through other people.

Despite the difficulties, I keep my heart filled with gratitude toward God for my life, for my family, and for every person who crosses my path. I do not lose faith, nor the will to keep fighting. I trust that better times are ahead.
